Taipei's MRT stations are connected to malls, museums, and underground walkways. You can spend hours without going outside.

Umbrellas Are Everywhere

Convenience stores sell cheap umbrellas for NT$100-150. Most hotels and malls also have umbrella stands or borrowing systems.

Hot Springs in Rain

Rainy days are actually ideal for hot springs. The contrast between cool rain and warm water is magical. Bring a change of clothes.

Museum Hours

Most museums are closed on Mondays. The National Palace Museum is open daily. Check hours before heading out.
