囕盈豚 NYD Taipei is the Taiwan first shop of a Seoul charcoal pork house. Opening day is 12 September 2026. The room is on 1F of Garden City's outdoor D-zone food garden at Taipei Dome, No. 517, Zhongxiao East Road Section 4, Xinyi. Phone (02) 2766-7789. The character 囕 is read like 覽. It is an old word for chewing. The brand sits next to Geumdwaeji Sikdang and Dream Charcoal in Seoul ranking lists, and Kai Fa Group brought it in as a joint venture, not a franchisee with a rewritten menu.
Kai Fa chairman Chiu Tai-han told SETN the deal was fast in June 2025 and the site hunt took more than six months. They wanted a street shop. Nothing in greater Taipei fit. The mall offered the D-zone terrace, and he took it because the floor plate matched. That terrace already has Korean and Japanese yakiniku. He said he was not worried about the neighbours after a tasting in Seoul. Walk-in only at launch. 89 seats across four-tops, six-tops and a 10-person room. About 80 ping. Waitlist windows: weekdays 15:30 to 20:00, weekends 13:30 to 20:00. Cap is eight names per ticket, children counted. You cannot add people after you take a number.
What is on the grill
Minimum spend is NT$600 a head. There are two-person and three-person sets plus a la carte. Five pork cuts: belly from 究好豬, plus jowl, "gourmet" pork, frost-finished pork and picnic from 香里活力豬. Grills sit in clay bowls over chrysanthemum charcoal, not a gas plate painted black. Staff grill for you. Condiments listed in the China Times write-up are rock salt, raw wasabi, wrap sauce, seafood sauce and a shrimp condiment. Banchan is not an afterthought. Kimchi is made in-house rather than poured from a tub.
If you already queue for 金豬食堂 in Taipei, this is the same general idea with a different charcoal and a Dome address. It is not a hidden speakeasy. Expect a wait on opening weekend, especially after a baseball game lets out upstairs.
Two other Kai Fa rooms in the same mall
SALT & STONE is already open on 7F of the mall tower. The name is salt plus stone-ground flour. Handmade pasta, pizza, daily baking. House plates mentioned by the group: Sichuan pepper prawn salad and spaghetti alla puttanesca. The window looks at Taipei 101. The first SALT & STONE in the tower itself is what got the group the Dome invite.
Texas Roadhouse on 4F is the chain's first "3.0 Urban Style" shop anywhere. Dark glass instead of red brick and wagon wheels. Chiu said Taiwan diners now want that look, and US head office signed off after a walk-through. Game days are the obvious traffic. The restaurant can put the Dome feed on screens. Neither of these two is a September 12 opening. They are the reason a Dome dinner does not have to be Korean BBQ if the NYD line is ugly.
Garden City's B-zone Monet Garden started soft opening on 22 August. The wider complex is still filling. Island Yü, the hard-to-book buffet, is slated for November in B2, not this month. Do not go on 12 September expecting that room. MRT is Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Blue line, exit 5. The Dome itself is a short covered walk. If you are coming from a concert, give yourself 20 minutes to find D-zone on the outdoor ring, not the cinema tower.
