Miu Miu has reopened its Breeze Nanshan boutique in Taipei's Xinyi district, and the rebuilt space is now the brand's largest store in Taiwan. The single-floor boutique covers about 194 square metres, or roughly 60 ping, and sits on the first floor of Breeze Nanshan at No. 17 Songzhi Road. Inside, the full Miu Miu autumn/winter 2026 range is on display, alongside a limited presentation of the 2026 Upcycled collection that focuses on reworking existing materials into new pieces.
Store design and layout
Rather than spreading stock across several floors, the new boutique keeps everything on one level. Limestone walls, oak flooring and vertical wood slats run through the interior, while large glass windows let in natural light. The brand's signature soft blue appears in fittings and display pieces, contrasting with the warm wood and neutral stone. This is the same visual language Miu Miu has used in recent store renovations elsewhere: natural materials, clean lines and the house blue as a focal colour.
The 194 sqm footprint places the Breeze Nanshan store ahead of Miu Miu's other Taiwan locations, including the original Breeze Nanshan unit that previously occupied a smaller space in the same mall. For shoppers in the Xinyi area, the expansion means a wider range of ready-to-wear, shoes, leather goods and accessories is now available locally, without needing to visit another city or country.
2026 autumn/winter and Upcycled collection highlights
The reopening timing was chosen to coincide with the local launch of the Miu Miu 2026 autumn/winter Upcycled collection. The Upcycled line, which the brand describes as an ongoing exploration of transformation and re-creation, takes existing garments and fabrics and reworks them into new designs. It is a limited, seasonal project rather than a permanent line, so availability at the Breeze Nanshan opening is the main chance to see these pieces in Taiwan.
Beyond the Upcycled range, the store carries the full seasonal line. The standout footwear is the Bubble sneaker, a rounded, chunky style inspired by Miu Miu's early-2000s archive. The 2026 autumn/winter runway version mixes tech nylon with jewelled embroidery, and the basic Bubble sneaker is priced at NT$37,500; the more decorated version is available on request. MOMO and MINNIE from TWICE have both been photographed in the style, which has helped drive attention in the Taipei market.
Bags to look for
Three bags are being highlighted with the reopening. The Arcadie studded top-handle bag, in soft leather with irregular texture and shiny studs, is NT$135,000. The Vivant, a soft nappa leather shoulder bag with a bowling-bag silhouette and a lock charm, is NT$115,000. The Rendez-vous, based on a 2011 archive design with a wide bucket shape and woven handle, is NT$110,000. Together they cover the brand's core categories: a structured day bag, a relaxed shoulder style and a roomy tote.
