Japanese lifestyle brand 3COINS has opened its first Taiwan store on the 4th floor of Eslite Spectrum Wuchang in Ximending, Taipei. Soft opening starts September 8, 2026; the grand opening is September 12.
The shop is about 112 ping. Among more than 400 stores in Japan, Taipei is a mid-to-large format and stocks more than 1,000 items. The first wave is organized into seven zones: Convenient Kitchen, Smart Storage, Laundry and Bath, Portable 3C, Quality Accessories, Travel Goods, and Taiwan Exclusive.

Kitchen gear, including the microwave fish pan
The kitchen section is drawing the most attention for a microwave cooker that Japanese shoppers nicknamed a fish-frying gadget. It cooks in a microwave, with no open flame and no need to watch a stove. Besides fish, it can cook rice, simmer soups, and steam side dishes.
Also on the floor: a deep microwave cooker large enough for frying, stir-frying, boiling, steaming, blanching, and rice; and a multi-function slicer with five blades for slicing, shredding, and grating, plus a hand guard.

Jacket strap and other carry-on pieces
The jacket strap is in the first Taiwan store too. After you take off a jacket or scarf, clip it to the strap and hang the strap from your bag so your hands stay free. It comes in four colors. A buckle lets you change the length for commuting, shopping, or travel.

Taiwan-only colors and bags
Taiwan exclusive items launched with the store: a small pouch, a folding-umbrella sleeve, and a reusable shopping bag. PR compared the idea to Starbucks city cups: country-specific pieces meant to be collected while traveling.
Japanese designers mixed two Taiwan-only colors, powder blue and pink. The pouch is nylon and polyester for coins and small accessories. The umbrella sleeve has a metal clip for a bag. The shopping bag is lightweight nylon in two sizes. More Taiwan-only products are planned.

What is not on the shelves yet
On September 7, 2026, brand PR told reporters on site that popular electric items fans have been asking for, including label makers, mini cameras, and intercoms, are not in the first drop. Taiwan customs and product inspection rules are strict. Electric goods and some food-contact containers are still in testing and should arrive in later waves.
Soft opening, tickets, and hours
Soft opening runs from Tuesday, September 8. Grand opening is Saturday, September 12. Numbered tickets will be used at the start to control crowds.
Weekdays: two ticket sessions, 11:15 and 15:00. Holidays: three sessions, 11:15, 15:00, and 18:30. The first session of each day (11:15) is issued at the 1st-floor main entrance of Eslite Spectrum Wuchang by scanning a QR code on site; PR said the scan is GPS-locked. Afternoon and evening sessions move to the 4th-floor doorway. How many tickets per session was not disclosed.
On Saturday, September 12, a morning opening event means the shop opens to the public at 13:00, and that day has only two ticket sessions. From Sunday, September 13, holiday days use the three-session timetable: 11:15 at the 1st-floor door, then 15:00 and 18:30 at the 4th-floor door.
Hours: September 8 to 10, 11:30 to 19:00; September 11, 11:30 to 16:00; September 12, 13:00 to 22:00; from September 13, 11:30 to 22:00. Ticket rules and session times may change with the crowd. Updates will be posted at the entrance.
