Xiaonanmen traditional curd at Taipei 101
Location: No. 45, City Hall Rd, Xicun Village, Xinyi District, Taipei City, Taiwan 110
Floor B1 · Taipei 101 Shopping center
The menu runs from hot and cold tofu pudding with ginger or peanut syrup, to grass jelly, sweet red-bean soup and the seasonal shaved-ice plates with fruit and condensed milk. It is a light, mid-afternoon stop rather than a full meal, and a cheaper, calmer alternative to the busier restaurant counters.
No reservation needed. The branch is on the food floor of the mall, a two-minute walk from Taipei 101/World Trade Center MRT.

Xiaonanmen is an awesome spot for fried dumplings. Their famous tofu pudding is also a must-try. I recommend getting the set with noodles, which was flavorful and complex.
Big Fish Dive Club
While shopping at 101, we came down to the basement for an ice treat of green beans, jello and bean curds. While it’s 110 outside, it’s cool inside in the building and enjoyed a traditional Taiwanese summer treat.
